It's been quite a while since I wrote a journal... and I haven't put up much art lately either! D: I'll go remedy that right now. Exam time does that to you. I'm so busy busy busy! And although I still do make time to draw, I haven't done much more than quick pictures and sketches. I've also been working on several long-term projects: more Frills of Justice and whole bunch of tutorials on a variety of topics. Since the semester has ended, I counted how many drawings I'd done in the margins of my lecture notes. There were over 700, mostly of my original characters. Hi everyone :wave: Supanova was last weekend, and it was great! And--for once--I had pockets in my costumes. Real actual pockets to keep stuff in so I didn't need a bag. If you're not a cosplayer, the significance of this probably doesn't register, but let me tell you it's a pretty big deal. I hate having to shove unsightly bags into the arms of obliging friends every time someone wants a photo, and they're a distraction from the costume too. On the Saturday, when we did our group Starship cosplay, my Taz costume had an entire utility belt as well as extra pockets in the cargo pants, so I had pockets I didn't even use! So I quite enjoyed doing that self-interview thing a couple of journals ago, and it seemed like you guys found it interesting, so I'm going to try it again. This time: Cosplaying! I could go on about it all day, so I've limited myself to just 10 questions. How long have you been cosplaying for? I cosplayed the first time I ever went to a convention, which was Manifest 2009. I didn't really know much about conventions or the cosplaying community, but my friends who had been before told me you could dress up, and I immediately started sewing.
