I also love the style of TB manga <3 Have you noticed it have been changing since the first volume? But in a good way, I think. Wondering if Kyujyo Kiyo has got more people to work on his manga team lately :>
Have you read the original novels of TB (or seen scans somewhere at internet)? I was first wondering why everybody hyped Thores Shibamoto's art, as they didn't look so special to me, but then I found his colored versions of the TB novel pictures and was like wow. If something should be called art, they're Shibamotos works
And then there's the anime... but I'm not going to say anything about it. x'''D
The anime loses out because, like most anime, it has to be simplified visually to produce it in a reasonable timeframe. I liked the music though.
That's true. And I also don't like the fact it mixes scenes from several periods of time... I mean it took part there and part here from the novels, and thus is really not chronological. Not good. But music, it's just great!
